OUT OF LUCK - female revenge heist

MONTREAL. MOLLY MCCAFFREY is in a packed bar on St. Patrick’s Day. The headline news is that KELLY MURPHY, a local businessman who owns a string of Irish bars, has been acquitted on sexual assault charges brought by multiple women. Molly’s sister,MARY-KATE, is one of the victims, and Molly needs a stiff drink, but when she tries to pay, the bartender reminds her that they only take cash on St. Paddy’s Day. An idea blooms as she watches the fast hands of the bartenders and waitresses taking in twenty after twenty.

Together with SOPHIE PROULX, her father’s ex-lover and the mastermind who helped him plan his heists, Molly gathers a team of Murphy’s victims to take down his five Irish bars. Just don’t tell Molly’s mother or Mary-Kate! Each of them will go undercover, biding their time until the parade. In the meantime, they steal a fur shipment to finance their plan, inadvertently pissing off the Russian mafia. Molly’s also come to the professional and personal attention of JEAN-MICHEL TREMBLAY, the police officer who’s investigating Murphy. When Molly crosses paths with Murphy earlier than planned, and her mother discovers what she’s up to, the plan seems doomed.

But then Molly-Kate steps in, and the plan can move ahead. GAME DAY finds everyone in place and the heist proceeding as planned. But Jean-Michel and the Russian Mob are hot on Molly’s heels. Can she get away with it, or will she end up in prison—or worse—like her father before her?
